Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager, Strategic Account Implementation is responsible for delivering member-focused onboarding and implementation processes that support tactical implementation, effective maintenance, and long-term retention to maximize the life-time value of the company’s strategic accounts. Manager, Strategic Account Implementation will possess comprehensive portfolio and market knowledge. In this role, The Manager, Strategic Account Implementation will support the accurate and timely completion of the established workplan including data analytic reviews and contract tier guidance, vendor connectivity through eLOC submission guidance and direct vendor communications, and possess a keen ability to identify contract offerings and opportunities to assure a successful on-boarding experience for the strategic account member and enhance member value throughout their member journey. The Manager, Strategic Account Implementation will serve as an internal resource across all departments to offer education and support to enrich team knowledge and promote customer journey through QBR and Annual Reviews as determined.

What you will do in this role:

  • Sets, refines, and delivers the standard for the organization to deliver implementation services by class of trade and specialty formulary - leads scalable process development.

  • Responsible for onboarding and maintenance implementation measures on groups with $20 million spend annually.

  • Primary responsibility in Critical Access Hospitals, and large ASC groups.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) portfolio penetration supporting HealthTrust Implementation teams in the non-acute space of IDNs.

  • Resource for Account Management and Sales Team on account implementation best practices.

  • Implement short- and long-term strategies for member retention.

  • Clear communication to Senior Director, Implementation

  • Conducts research to develop large and impactful programs and partnerships and determine implementation.

  • Develops trust and loyalty through competence and expert contract and contract application knowledge to strengthen the member relationship.

  • Management of scalable process flow for strategic member and rep engagement, and overall account health implementation measures.

  • Provides continuity and focus for large and complex implementations requiring multiple suppliers (direct and distributed) to ensure success.

  • Cross communication with member “team” to recognize risk and ensure success in relationships, partnerships, and the business.

  • Maintain strategic reports for the purpose of reporting savings, identifying opportunities and enhancing compliance through scheduled Strategic Account business reviews conducted in collaboration with Account Management.

  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) as assigned for formulary lead contract alignments and other contract categories as designated.

  • Responsible for maximizing penetration of strategic accounts with contract portfolio and distribution opportunities

  • Cross reference knowledge to offer optimized solutions based on member and/or rep scenarios.

  • Maximizes member value with portfolio knowledge based on COT, specialty, distributor along with priority level of risk or opportunity.

  • Train new team members on the implementation process and protocol.

  • Identifies S2 opportunities and initiates communication through vendors and members with direct collaboration and support of Senior Director, Implementation.

  • Direct resource for tier and quoting guidance on RFP cost analysis on strategic accounts, offering final review of accuracy in coordination with sales team

  • Provide education to Account Management team and other internal stakeholders on contract updates, processes, process changes

  • Contributes to formulating process templates and educational guide for internal use

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree, required

  • 5+ years of experience in GPO Supply Chain facing role, required

  • 3+ years of experience in market segment experience or successful record of accomplishment as implementation or strategic account management, preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, relationship building, and management, required
