The Controller is a senior financial management position responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial operations. The Controller plays a critical role in managing and developing the financial staff. The Controller is directly responsible for the financial health of the division and its compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The Controller provides financial leadership and guidance to support the division’s performance and profitable growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs financial affairs of a division of an organization, including period end close, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Prepares and analyzes financial reports, including income statement, balance sheet and management reports.

  • Ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

  • Monitors and analyzes financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.

  • Manages the division’s financial systems and controls to ensure accuracy of financial data.

  • Coordinates with other departments within division and at parent company to provide financial support and analysis for decision-making.

  • Oversees the division’s financial audits and tax compliance activities.

  • Serve as financial lead for division goals, special projects and initiatives, including developing and implementing financial strategies.

  • Provides financial leadership and guidance to division management and staff.

  • Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting staff of the division.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

  • Ten or more years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least five years in a managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting systems and ERP software.

Compensation Details:

  • The expected salary for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
