CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for a Facility Electrical Engineer to support a contract for National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) activities.

More About the Role

  • Responsibilities of the Facility Electrical Engineer include:

  • Lead and participate in project teams to develop facility electrical systems conceptual designs, final designs and cost estimates.

  • Provide construction support for the electrical phases of buildings, equipment installations, utility systems and grounds.

  • Review electrical design to assess compliance with customer requirements, building codes and applicable regulations using construction principles, practices, and materials and takes appropriate corrective action.

  • Ensure accuracy of facility electrical drawing archives/libraries. Oversees review of contractor redlines.

  • Provide oversight to identify errors and documents construction changes to comply with regulatory requirements, facility standards, and record retention requirements.

  • Review contractor proposals; interfaces with government/regulatory agencies; monitors project progress and vendor/consultant performance.

  • Support preparation and presentation of project information to ensure compliance with applicable construction documents and jurisdictional requirements and to meet project objectives.

  • Participate in the production of detailed design documents. Uses common Electrical Engineering design tools such as SKM Power Tools, lighting design software and AUTOCAD. Applies common design standards such as the National Electrical Code and Uniform Building Codes.

  • Translate customer requirements to design options with documents and estimates.

  • Identifies appropriate materials, equipment, and services by applying engineering principles and methodology.

  • Review and develop preventive maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with industry and vendor recommended standards.

  • Develop and update design standards and site-specific operating procedures to establish common practices.

  • Provide input short-term and long-term infrastructure planning; completes facility electrical studies; analyzes current conditions and future requirements.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Typically has a University Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline or equivalent experience

  • 5 years related work experience

  • Interfacing with active-duty military and civil service personnel

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have US Government TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Security Clearance

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
