Transportation Engineer / Civil Engineer - Canton, Ohio - JOB 25-01054 Salary Range: $90k - $110k Permanent Position with Benefits Growing A & E Firm seeks an experienced Civil Transportation Engineer to work with their Highway / Bridge Division. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Registered Professional Engineer (P.E. License) in Ohio or an Engineer in Training (EIT) on track to become a Licensed PE and a minimum of (8) years of hands-on experience performing engineering / design of highway roadway and bridge projects. • Preferred Candidate will have direct knowledge of civil engineering design practices and an understanding of the ODOT project development process. • Candidate must be capable of performing and checking engineering project calculations. • Proficient utilizing OpenRoads Designer design software. • Experience with AutoCad, AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or InRoads software is a plus. • Candidate should have experience with AASHTO, ODOT design guidance, CAD-standards, roadway, and right-of-way deliverables. • Candidate must be able to act as the Project Manager to facilitate project from inception to completion. • Candidate is expected to oversee roadway design, setting geometric alignments, hydrology & hydraulics for drainage design, 3D roadway modeling, pavement design, erosion control plans, maintenance of traffic, right-of-way, and to prepare detailed project quantity calculations and construction cost estimates as needed. • Candidate must be a good communicator to work with other engineering personnel, construction teams, and clients.
