Req# 28260 Aultman Health Foundation, CANTON, OH AULTCARE ADMINISTRATION Aultman Health Foundation Full Time, Day Shift, 8-5 PURPOSE OF POSITION: The purpose of your position is to run the day to day operations within Networks, Credentialing and Contracting Departments. Also to assist department director with day to day tasks. It is expected to develop, implement and maintain an accurate provider data base; facilitate the preparation and follow-up of the monthly activities of the Membership Services Committee and PEER committee; track and report provider based information using Department data bases; and serve as a communication link with Provider offices and other AultCare Departments regarding the status of providers. RESPONSIBILITES/DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS: Maintain a thorough knowledge and meet important industry standards set forth by organizations such as NCQA, CMS, ODI, etc. Helps in coordinating updating of policies and procedures as necessary to comply with these standards. Assist director with contracting responsibilities. Responsible to delegate and maintain the departments' day to day workload and staffing schedule, including phone coverage. Responsible for assisting and problem solving with the staff with the various calls received during the work day. Handles difficult and sensitive issues that need to be escalated; exercises judgment where necessary and consults director on major problems and issues. Serves as a back-up to the director and assists the departments' immediate needs when the director is not available. Functions as a project leader; troubleshoots and resolves problems at a line staff level when possible and assist Director to coordinate activities across departmental lines while maintaining positive interactions with both internal and external customers. Assists director with development of performance monitoring and reporting, including feedback for employee's annual evaluations and orientation of new employees. Supports the day to day operations by making appropriate recommendations to director for changes within the Department, including process improvement and problem solving. Facilitate the preparation and follow-up of the monthly activities of the Membership Services Committee and PEER committee and any necessary reporting. Consistently plans, organizes, and completes tasks independently and thoroughly in the allotted time frames with the ability to be flexible when priorities change. Communicates regularly and appropriately with director and all staff and reports and accurately documents pertinent information. Maintains positive attitude and is cooperative in all duties. Communicates with providers, co-workers, and other health care professionals in a professional manner. Maintains confidentiality. Displays regular and punctual attendance Seek supervisory guidance/approval as appropriate. Evidence of varied responsibilities within the healthcare or managed care field. Maintains current State of Ohio driver's license.
