• CNC Machinist
• Canton, OH
• Up to $26.50/hour based on experience
• 1 ^st^ shift 7am-5pm, Monday -- Friday, with some half days on Saturday as needed
• 3 ^rd^ shift 9pm-7am Monday -- Friday, with some half days on Saturday as needed
• Direct Hire opportunity

As the CNC Machinist you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC Lathes and/or Milling machines. Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for changing out cutters on Milling machines.
• Responsible for turning necks, facing, centering, etc on Lathe machines.
• Perform all tool changes on machines.
• Monitor CNC machine operation carefully to uphold close tolerances.
• Use of Jib cranes and dollies.
• Dislodge chips and handle chip pusher.
• Utilize check sheet for preventative maintenance.
• Check off paperwork associated with each job.
• Keep area clean, swept, and clear of debris, etc.

Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience setting up and operating CNC Machines.
• Must be able to move 50 lbs of material on a regular basis, with occasional 90 lbs of lifting.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.
