Civil Transportation Bridge Engineer / Project Manager - Canton, Ohio - JOB 25-00995 Salary Range: $105k - $135k Permanent Position with Benefits Growing A & E Firm located in the Akron / Canton, Ohio area seeks a Civil Transportation Bridge Engineer who performed as a Project Manager in the design and construction of bridges. The Project Manager is required to perform structural / stress calculations and analysis for all bridge components including steel and concrete superstructures, substructures and retaining walls. Candidate must have previous experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation / ODOT. REQUIREMENTS: • Civil Engineering Degree / MS or BS in Civil / Structural Engineering with a P.E. License and a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Civil Engineering • Projects specifically in Bridge Design. • The Project Manager is responsible for the management of the project from cradle to grave. This includes monitoring the design, plan development, and QA/QC reviews of Bridge Projects including the scheduling of project tasks and personnel to complete projects on budget and on schedule. • Candidate must have previous Civil Project Management experience preferably with Bridge Design Projects. • Candidate must have Bridge Design Software and able to perform stress calculations and structural analysis experience. • Candidate must have experience with current AASHTO code, Open Roads Designer, and AutoCAD software.
