A thriving company in Canton, Ohio is seeking a couple of candidates to help them in the Buying Operations department. These are direct hire positions and are in office. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. They are open to candidates entry level who are willing to learn and people with logistics/buying backgrounds. Responsibilities:

• Accurately entering and processing customer orders

• Creating and managing purchase orders to suppliers

• Following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products

• Coordinating logistics to facilitate smooth delivery of products

• Keeping track of material purchasing and ensuring it stays within budget

• Ensuring production timelines are adhered to

• Using ERP software for order management

• Managment relationships with vendors and suppliers

• Problem-solving to optimize operations and find efficient ways of working

• Making sure that orders arrive and are delivered in a timely fashion

Requirements

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Excellent mathematical skills

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
