Job Description:

Position: Branch Generalist

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift (Weekdays Monday - Friday)

Location: Belleville, MI Scholastic Warehouse

Position Overview: Are you ready to be the heart of our branch operations? We're seeking a Branch Generalist who thrives in a diverse role, where no two days are the same. From administrative tasks to tech proficiency and beyond, this role is perfect for someone who loves to juggle multiple responsibilities while ensuring top-notch quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Multitasker: Assist with various branch functions, from managing labor data to coordinating Purchase Order invoicing and beyond. Schedule interviews and help with new hire on boarding.

  • Tech Whiz: Demonstrate your prowess with all POS (EZ scan) tech functions, ensuring seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.

  • Event Maestro: Coordinate events in the location to celebrate employee recognition, holidays and other special occasions. Conduct New Hire Orientation.

  • Detail Dynamo: Keep things running smoothly by monitoring and ordering office supplies, maintaining costumes and marketing materials, and more.

  • Safety Champion: Uphold safety policies and procedures rigorously, ensuring a secure environment for all.

  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues and customers alike, maintaining positive relationships that reflect our values.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Performance: High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.

  • Team Spirit: A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

  • Communication Ace: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to navigate through various tasks with ease.

  • Tech Savvy: Basic math skills and proficiency in using PC-related tools as needed.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.

  • Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.

  • Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals

  • Must be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs occasionally on a daily basis.

  • Must be able to lift boxes that weigh up to 30 lbs to a height of 70” occasionally on a daily basis.

  • Must be able to push wheeled cases, which may weigh in excess of 300 lbs, with an initial force of up to 50 lbs and a sustained force of up to 30 lbs.

  • Must be able to stand, reach above and below the shoulders, squat, bend and kneel as necessary to perform the job.

  • Must be able to tolerate work in a non-air conditioned environment.

  • Must be able to accurately follow specific instructions for multiple detailed assembly processes.
