Job Summary

Assist with all aspects of developing and maintaining the meter and regulations (M&R) at the UGI Energy Services, LLC (UGIES) facilities, including LPG plants, compressor stations, M&R stations, LNG facilities, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the operational readiness of UGIES’ natural gas custody transfer facilities.

• Maintain, repair, and operate regulators, control valves, natural gas meters, heaters, filters, valves and other associated facility equipment.

• Complete compliance related facility tasks.

• Complete or oversee general maintenance of facility buildings and grounds.

• Develop and manage necessary spare parts inventory.

• Supervise contractors performing work on facilities.

• Assist during the new construction of pipelines and custody transfer facilities.

• Assist with developing facility documentation including O&M manuals, forms, procedures, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience working with natural gas, and knowledge of its specific hazards.

• Strong knowledge of natural gas custody transfer equipment.

• Ability to travel to all facilities and willingness to work overtime depending on business demands.

• Professional, reliable, self-directing work habits.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS software.

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.

• Good interpersonal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Related technical / mechanical degree is desired.

• 3 years of relevant experience in maintaining and operating natural gas facilities and equipment.

• Valid Driver’s License.
