Job ID: 498232Hancock, a CRH company, is the leading provider of concrete pipe, box culverts, manholes and precast structures in the upper Midwest, primarily serving the water end-market with six manufacturing sites in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.Position SummaryThe warehouse associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.ResponsibilitiesCompare information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other recordsOperate forklifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materialsDocument and maintain inventory and ensuring production area organization and cleanlinessReceive, unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortagesCheck and store merchandise or materialsFill requisition and ordersPack, crate, and ship products out to distribution centers, departments, or assembly linesRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobExamine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specificationsPerform loading and unloading of outgoing and incoming shipmentsRetrieve finished goods from inventory and stages shipmentsOperate tier lift truck to load and unload trucksOther duties may be assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; or at least one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read / write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsTraining and/or forklift experience necessaryAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.What CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
