Aerotek Maintenance Technician in CANFIELD, Ohio

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Schedule

Monday - Friday

6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial equipment/machinery

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery

  • Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V

  • Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics

  • Perform welding, brazing, and burning operations

  • Install conduit, fittings, switches, relays, controls, fixtures, motors, equipment, and wiring as required

  • Install, swap out, replace, and wire 3-phase motors

  • Work with valves, bearings, and gearboxes

  • Perform welding and fabrication

  • Repair conveyors and spray booths

Work Environment

The work environment includes a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with occasional overtime required. You may need to cover the 3rd shift as needed. The manufacturing facility features a mix of new and old equipment, conveyor systems, and spray booths. It is a union environment with around 28 employees on the production floor and 5 in maintenance. The facility has been in operation since the 1950s and prides itself on trust and communication with employees. The company is committed to a strong safety culture and works within the consumer, construction, and automotive industries.
