Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We seek an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial equipment and machinery. Key responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V, working with PLCs, and handling photo eyes, sensors, and switches. You will also install, replace, and maintain VFDs, perform hydraulic/pneumatic installations and repairs, interpret blueprints and schematics, and carry out welding, brazing, and burning operations. Additional duties include installing and wiring 3-phase motors, working with valves, bearings, and gearboxes, repairing conveyors and spray booths, setting up and operating lathes, and handling material shipments. You will also maintain records, organize the workplace, direct trainees and helpers, and collaborate with the engineering department.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CANFIELD, Ohio.

Work Environment

1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with potential overtime. May cover for 3rd shift as needed. Manufacturing facility with a mix of new and old equipment, including conveyor systems and spray booths. Union environment with around 28 employees on the production floor and 5 in maintenance. Facility has been operating since the 1950s and fosters a culture of safety, trust, and communication. Work involves consumer, construction, and automotive industries.
