Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and resolving technical challenges? Amazon's IT Services (ITS) team is seeking a driven and adaptable IT Support Associate to join our dynamic Canberra office.

As an IT Support Associate, you will be the site lead, responsible for delivering end-user support, infrastructure management, and audiovisual assistance. The role is to provide IT Support to Amazon employees (Amazonians). This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team and leverage cutting-edge, in-house AI tools like Amazon Bedrock to support our Amazonians.

Key job responsibilities

  • Promptly research, resolve, and respond to user requests, ensuring high-quality support and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user computing issues, from analysis to testing and follow-up.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to process support requests, incidents, and project activities.

  • Assist with triage and escalation of server, system, or network issues.

  • Manage accurate inventory of Amazon-owned equipment.

  • Provide hands-on and remote support for teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer facing end user support experience within a complex and high volume environment.

  • 2+ years of PC/laptop support including, troubleshooting, imaging, repair, deployment and asset management experience.

  • 2+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience within a corporate setting.

  • 1+ year experience working with server technologies, including AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM .

  • 2+ years of networking experience (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science or IT related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of network support and maintenance experience.

  • 3+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience within a corporate setting.

  • 3+ years of customer facing end user support experience within a complex and high volume environment.

  • Support of Teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment.
