Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Project Manager in our renewables division. As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in customer interactions, project scoping, bill of materials (BOM) definition, quote creation, and overall technical leadership for skidded solar power conversion systems, switchboards, electric vehicle solution and battery energy storage systems.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:

• Act as the primary liaison with customers, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.

• Foster positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and operations during first article inspections (FAIs).

• Scope Development:

• Lead the development of detailed project scopes in collaboration with customers and internal teams.

• Ensure alignment between project scope, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

• Bill of Materials (BOM):

• Define and manage comprehensive bill of materials for renewables systems.

• Collaborate closely with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize material sourcing.

• Quoting:

• Oversee the creation of accurate and competitive project quotes based on established scopes and BOMs.

• Provide transparent and detailed explanations of cost breakdowns to customers.

• Project Management:

• Take on the role of technical project lead, guiding cross-functional teams to successful project completion.

• Ensure adherence to project timelines, technical specifications, and quality standards.

• Track key costs drivers throughout the project.

• Help establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical integration work tasks.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• Able to obtain NABCEP PV Certification within the first year of employment.

• Proven experience in project management within the renewable energy or solar industry.

• Strong understanding of solar power systems and associated technologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and first article inspections (10-20%)

• This position will be based out of our Canal Fulton, OH location.
