Position Summary:

This position is responsibile for driving Ortho - Sure Smile sales, through new business growth and increase of case submissions by current customers. Effectively manage an assigned postal code territory by calling on dental offices, Develop, implement, and execute a business plan and plan of action. Maintain adequate level of Customer Relationship Management information as well as continually providing timely competitive information and customer feedback to sales management, peer group, and marketing team. Effectively utilize CRM to capture, share and use information for developing a business plan.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will require the individual to capture SureSmile business and drive SureSmile Aligner Case Submissions provide implementation and consultative performance support for SureSmile practices, including case utilization, marketing, product and service quality enhancement and financial cost controls. In addition, a key responsibility will be driving Digital Impressions with every SureSmile customer. Responsible for working with a portfolio of practices to proactively enhance performance. Up to 40% travel time required. Primary responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Implementation services-Involves working with Workflow Integration Specialist, CAD/CAM, Managers, the doctor, Chairside/Implant/Endo and the staff of the doctor to ensure that all stakeholders needs are met in regards to the understanding of the utilization of the SureSmile/CADCAM software.

  • Utilization/Marketing/Practice Consultations-helps develop teaching materials to enhance current company materials. Presents and trains on product material to ensure proper implementation of software to the customer.

  • Develops and fosters a cooperative working relationship with the local sales professionals within their territory.

  • Effective planning and tools utilization.

  • Will be required to visit new SureSmile Starter Kit offices in a timely manner.

  • Keeps abreast of the scientific literature to ensure educational programs are current.

  • Will be required to meet an assigned quota of Aligner Case Submissions

  • Effectively use technical and consultative skills to increase demand/ sales for the CAD/CAM products

  • Drive Digital Impression scanners with all new and current SureSmile users

  • May be required to attend ongoing required Dentsply Sirona training.

  • Will be required to prioritize their travel schedule for proper territory coverage and management.

  • Other duties and responsibilities not specifically described may be assigned from time to time at supervisor’s discretion

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors of Science degree (preferred)

  • 5 years’ experience in Health Care or Orthodontic Industry.

Certification/Licensing:

  • Valid driver’s license required

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:

  • Consulting, Training, and Process Improvement experience required

  • Technology savvy with High level of proficiency or ability to master use of personal computers, MS office, including excel and PowerPoint, and other platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Adobe Connect.

  • Excellent consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Initiative and ownership to ensure timely and efficient response to practice requests

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on consultative customer communication

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis up to 8 hours or more per day
