Preventative Maintenance, First Shift, Direct Hire.

Our client, one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world, is currently hiring 4 Maintenance Technicians, Direct Hire, First Shift; focus will be on Preventative Maintenance Tasks.

Preventative Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities in optimal condition by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This role is critical in preventing equipment failures, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe and efficient operational environment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician Team:

Perform Machine Maintenance.

Follow the posted schedule for Lines due for PM.

Use SAP to access the required maintenance tasks for scheduled PM's.

Clean, inspect and lubricate machine components based on PM schedule.

Repair or replace machine components to ensure reliable machine performance.

Rebuild machines or machine subassemblies to ensure correct functionality.

Perform other maintenance tasks as designated by Maintenance leader.

Use SAP to mark tasks as complete after maintenance.

Help the team achieve 100% maintenance compliance to schedule.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert for equipment maintenance.

Assist the team in reviewing maintenance task lists to improve the effectiveness of the maintenance process.

Guide technicians to perform maintenance tasks when they participate in maintenance activities.

Train technicians to repair and rebuild machine components and subassemblies.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of engineering / manufacturing experience, automated industrial industry preferred. The right hands-on automotive candidate may also be considered.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and perform repairs.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or failures.

Experience with root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying issues effectively.

Hands on experience with equipment maintenance is required.

Practical experience with tools, machinery, and equipment used in maintenance tasks.

Capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating hand and power tools.
