Broadstreet Properties LTD Planning Coordinator - Residential Facilities Management in Campbell River, British Columbia

The Planning Coordinator is responsible for the planning and coordination of small to large scale facilities projects and green field development for a diverse portfolio of multi-family residential properties throughout Western Canada. The Planning Coordinator help facilitate multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.

Your contributions to the team include:

  • Coordinate day-to-day aspects of project planning and scope creation

  • Facilitate project estimation and bidding with third party vendors

  • Facilitate contract documentation

  • Facilitate project design requirements with internal and external parties

  • Prepare project documentation, organization and communication

  • Help facilitate the creation of business cases for new products and design standards

  • Facilitate the curation and upkeep of construction design standards

  • Use project scheduling to organize and plan projects for handoff to regional project teams for execution

  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to key stakeholders

  • Address questions and concerns throughout the inception to startup of each project

  • Organize and distribute all project documents appropriately

  • Organize, compile and submit grant and permit applications to various levels of municipal, provincial and federal governments

  • Create planning schedule

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Planning or Project Coordination role

  • Understanding of construction and building systems

  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team

  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

  • Project management or technical certification (CET) preferred
