U.S. Marine Corps SUPERVISORY CMD INSPECTOR GENERAL in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CMD INSPECTOR GENERAL in the 2nd Marine Division, Inspector General Office of II MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. Responsibilities You will provide an impartial, factual report of the findings of inspections, investigations, and inquires into the concerns of higher ups. You will be responsible for conducting detailed IG investigations that are directed by Commanding General or other directing authorities You will develop investigative plans as needed encompassing all aspects of the investigative methods, techniques, and procedures. You will provide assistance to civilian employees and military members in the resolution of any Inspector General appropriate matter. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinate and supporting organizations and setting top level priorities and preparation of schedules for completion of work Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Develop and conduct investigations on allegations as instructed by the Commanding General. Accurately report findings to higher ups and take the necessary steps of action to enforce laws and rules. Determine the severity of allegations to see if it warrants an investigation. Plan work for subordinates to accomplish, set priorities, and prepare schedules.
