Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations Logistics Management Specialist in Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corp Base, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Special Operations Command, Pacific (SOCPAC). Responsibilities You will plan and execute property book operations. You will manage assigned Sensitive Activity program property. You will provide proper training, guidance and assistance to hand-receipt holders and theater assigned forces. You will work with and maintain proficiency with a host of automated processing and accountability systems. You will compile and submit audit reports as required. You will assist with Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) program. You will assist with development, review, and submission of the SOCPAC Joint Tables of Allowance (JTA). You will assist with the receipt, warehousing, and redistribution of accountable property. You will adapt to unforeseen changes in command missions and priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, and executing work and tasks related to joint property accountability and joint property book management; 2) Evaluate assigned logistics programs and property accountability operations to identify and resolve issues and/or improve efficiencies; 3) Provide guidance concerning joint regulatory, policy, or procedural changes; 4) Coordinate with the joint logistics enterprise to enhance property book operations; 5) Briefs leadership on status and disposition of command equipment, and; 6) Develops and/or recommend new or revised plans, processes and policies.
