Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Corrections Maintenance Foreman - SCI Camp Hill in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 4565420 THE POSITION The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in building maintenance and repair to oversee inmate work crews in completing construction and maintenance work orders. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Foreman, you will primarily supervise inmates in the performance of various maintenance, repair, construction, grounds keeping, and janitorial tasks in and around the facility. In addition, you will perform journey work in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, refrigeration, masonry, steam-fitting, welding, and more. In this position, you will make decisions independently and ensure custody and control over inmates.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hour work week. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
