Holtec International Software Manager in Camden, New Jersey

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Software Manager to lead our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large teams, including offshore teams, and a proven ability to oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a large software development team, ensuring effective collaboration across offshore and onshore teams.

  • Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.

  • Ensure adherence to processes and compliance standards, including CMMI Level 5 (CMM5) practices.

  • Conduct software requirement analysis to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.

  • Manage user stories and product backlogs to facilitate clear communication between stakeholders and development teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product management, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Drive continuous improvement in team performance, processes, and tools to optimize efficiency and quality.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing large software development teams, including offshore teams.

  • Expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously, with strong prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CMMI Level 5 (CMM5) processes and compliance requirements.

  • Strong background in software requirement analysis, user story management, and Agile methodologies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.

  • Prior experience in large-scale enterprise software development projects.
