United States Cold Storage, Inc., in Camden, NJ, is seeking an Infrastructure and Cloud Lead. The Infrastructure and Cloud Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the organization's transition to a cloud-based infrastructure. S/he will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's cloud solutions, while ensuring the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance. S/he will align the company's IT infrastructure with business goals and deliver innovation solutions leveraging advanced network skills.Additional specific job duties will include:• Cloud Strategy Development -Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with the organization's goals, including cloud migration, platform selection, and adoption of emerging cloud technologies;• Team Leadership: Work with IT team members, including cloud engineers, and administrators, and ensure the team is well organized, and capable of delivering high-quality solutions;• Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Collaborate with various IT teams to design and implement cloud infrastructure that meets business requirements, focusing on scalability,performance, and cost optimization.• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced technical support and lead troubleshooting efforts for major IT outages.• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, compliance standards, and data protection protocols within the cloud infrastructure.• Cost Management: Monitor and control cloud-related expenses, optimize resource utilization, and implement cost-saving measures while ensuring performance and reliability.• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based infrastructure.• Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, software development teams, and business units to ensure seamless integration and support for cloud-based solutions.• Documentation and Best Practices: Establish and maintain documentation, best practices, and standard operating procedures related to cloud infrastructure.• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance the cloud infrastructure and operations.• Training and Development: Provide guidance and support for team members, enabling their professional growth and expertise in cloud and network technologies.The Infrastructure and Cloud Lead must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology and 2 years of experience in a Network Administrator/Engineer or Cloud Administrator/Engineer role.
