We are looking for a Dynamic Director of Business Development to join the Military Services Group. Apply now for immediate consideration!Primary Role Working with the President of Military Services Group, the Director is responsible for development of business opportunities within the Department of Defense's Utilities Privatization (UP) program, and those other non-UP opportunities that American Water's Military Services Group (MSG) may pursue within the Department of Defense or with other federal agencies. Responsibilities include monitoring requests for interest or request for proposals issued by various federal agencies, developing with federal agencies, areas of service MSG can provide both within existing contracts and with new contractual opportunities. Reviewing solicitation documentation, evaluating solicitation requirements and conditions, providing strategic input into contract negotiations and written submittals. Developing and implementing legislative and policy initiatives to support the company's growth objectives.Key Accountabilities * Lead development of MSG growth opportunities in both the Utilities Privatization and other areas of federal government business development.
