The Category Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting the $2B Soup and Broth category, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of financial targets and to enhance their ability to make informed financial decisions. This role will focus on driving strong financial performance through effective FP&A, financial modeling and commercial finance expertise, offering insights that shape business decisions and deliver impactful results. This individual will play a critical role in innovation and commercialization process, monthly close and projection cycle, and the Annual Operating Plan creation and 3-Year Strategic Plan creation. What you will do... Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Drive and execute month-end reporting and variance analysis. Understanding YTD drivers and making recommendations for the upcoming forecasting cycle. Provide detailed variance analysis and actionable insights on financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses. Monitor key financial metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and decision-making. Lead the development of financial forecasts working closely with Soup Finance Sr Director plus cross-functional teams. Play key role on development on Annual Plans and 3-year strategic Plans. Commercial Finance: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to analyze trade spending and advertising & consumer (A&C) investments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Partner with Sales teams to drive revenue growth and margin improvement through pricing strategies, customer profitability analysis, and promotional effectiveness. Provide financial guidance and decision support for key commercial initiatives and customer negotiations. Innovation & Commercialization The individual will be the finance partner on the innovation and commercialization teams.
