Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment’s Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III program team in Camden, AR.

The Project Management Specialist will directly support the Camden IPT lead in managing a cross-functional team. This role works with program management and internal stakeholders to scope the work to be outsourced to external suppliers, select qualified suppliers, and provide oversight of the supplier relationship. Additionally, the project manager will have exposure to high level leadership and will advise on project direction in the best interest of the Camden site. The Project Manager duties are broad in nature and may encompass multiple phases of the site expansion lifecycle to include design development for buildings, civil, automation, and non-automation equipment, construction, installation, and product validation. The Project Manager will also work closely with third-party vendors to ensure timeliness of critical tasks and ensure work remains within the bounds of cost and schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, coordinate and lead program meetings and workshops.

  • Manage third party vendors to their commitments along scope, cost, and schedule.

  • Influence positive cultural and organizational change.

  • Perform cost account management (CAM) duties as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant project management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related project management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related project management experience.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with earned value program management and risk management.

  • Experience in construction, facilities, or maintenance.

  • Engineering and/or technical development background preferred.

  • Experience accelerating delivery dates for administrative deliverables
