Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week. Work hours are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $58,624 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of paraprofessional experience assisting educational staff in a classroom setting that includes or is supplemented by one year of experience providing classroom instruction or possession of an active Instructional 1 or 2 certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education; or A bachelor's degree in education which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of an institution-approved teaching practicum; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by completion of an institution-approved teaching practicum, one year of experience providing classroom instruction, or possession of an active Instructional 1 or 2 certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. You must meet the PA residency requirement. For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow thelinkand click on Residency. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
