Job Description:

The Downline role at the Cambridge location provides support to the aseptic production team by performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Following all safety policies (LOTO, safe knife handling, safe lifting techniques,safe chemical handling)

• Following all quality, GMP, and PPE policies & procedures (safe material handling, lot traceability, etc.)

• Keeping supervisor and maintenance informed of issues that require corrective action orrepair

• Submitting work orders as needed

• Keeping an updated downtime log for downline issues

• Maintaining a clean, sanitized work area

• Removingand submitting all pallet tickets at the end of each shift

• Checking pallets & codes

• Weighing containers, adjusting quantities, and performing weight checks

• Starting, stopping, and regulating speed of conveyor

• Setting up and keeping line equipment running

• Cleaning packaging containers and equipment

• Inspecting material, products, and containers at each step of packaging process

• Completing all necessary paperwork

• Ensuring the quality and integrity of all product meets specifications by comparing actual product specs to spec sheet

• Running alternate equipment as needed to support the production line and appropriate maintenanceactivities

• Notifying a supervisor/production lead if leaving work area for prolonged period of time

• Performing other duties as assigned by a production supervisor or production lead

• Training and developing personnel as needed

• Participating in a team environment by interacting with other employees

• Performing audits of PSA locations
