  Job Description

TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE, McGovern Institute for Brain Research-Gabrieli Lab, to be responsible for the coordination and implementation of research studies involving both children and adult participants, including neurodiverse individuals with diagnoses of autism and/or ADHD. Will be involved in participant outreach and scheduling, administration of standardized behavioral assessments to measure language and cognition, coordination of testing scores and reports, operation of fMRI scanner (training will be provided), maintenance and development of analysis software, and technical support for lab personnel.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, e.g., social science, neuroscience, psychology/education, or related fields; two years’ specialized lab experience (may include experience gained as an undergraduate); excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; and good judgment with confidential/sensitive information about learning abilities. Job #24062 Must have regular availability on weekends (9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Saturdays or Sundays) and some afternoons/evenings (between 3:00 and 7:00 P.M.) when children/adolescents are available for testing outside school hours.
