Position Description

Postdoctoral Research Positions in the GRASP Initiative at Harvard University

The Gravity, Spacetime, and Particle Physics ( GRASP ) Initiative, an exciting new opportunity led by Professor Lisa Randall, is now accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in high energy theory. We anticipate a dynamic environment with interactions with many interesting visitors as well as the members of the Harvard theory group.

Positions begin in the academic year 2024-2025 and can begin as early as July 2024. The appointment would be at the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow. The initial appointment is for two years, with a third year contingent upon continued funding and research collaboration.

Applications should consist of a letter of application, CV, and research statement. Please also provide three letters of recommendation from senior scientists who know your work.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have completed their Ph.D. degree by the appointment start date; demonstrate outstanding research in high energy theory appropriate to the level of the position; and have the ability to identify and pursue research problems independently while working well in an interactive and dynamic setting.
