    Job Description

PLATFORM ADMINISTRATOR, Media Lab, to join the MIT Center for Constructive Communication (https://www.ccc.mit.edu/) and focus on deploying the platform, Fora, across campus and stakeholder categories (e.g., students/staff/faculty, labs/centers/institutes, affiliate organizations, etc.). Will develop and lead the administration of the Fora platform, including user registration and access management, data management, and tech support/services to deliver realtalk@MIT to various stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing assistance and support to end-users of the Fora application; ensuring that supported technologies, applications, and/or databases are available, reliable, and error-free; and writing process documentation and developing training on procedures and the use of the application. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree; at least three years of software/hardware management experience supporting technology products at scale in collaboration with engineers, designers, and end users; experience creating dynamic and comprehensive spreadsheets; collecting and synthesizing feedback to stakeholders; demonstrated organizational skills and high degree of initiative, resourcefulness, judgment, problem-solving, and discretion in dealing with complex projects. PREFERRED: experience with single sign-on (SSO) technology; experience working effectively in a university setting and with college students, faculty and staff; an understanding of and experience implementing technology solutions; experience with technology/data/systems administration at community scale; experience with data policy; and project management experience.
