Description:

Sanofi’s US In Vivo Research Center (IVRC) within the Translational Models (TIM) Research Platform plays a key role in advancing the global research pipeline. The IVRC team encompasses a team of Laboratory Animal Technicians, Animal Care Technicians, Facility Managers, Vet staff and Scientists, whose goal is to support the execution of in vivo studies involving disease models and assessment of efficacy, PK, biodistribution and toxicology following therapeutic interventions across a wide range of modalities and indications. The team works closely with Research Therapeutic Area scientists and Research Platform departments to drive in vivo activities across Sanofi’s pipeline. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join the In Vivo Research Team. The position is based at Sanofi’s Cambridge Crossing site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform animal study technical support in compliance with Sanofi policies - Advanced rodent techniques (including but not limited to a range of dosing routes, various blood collection methods, rodent surgery, advanced necropsy collections, PK execution, drug formulation, etc)

  • Support for management of new technical support requests

  • Member of training team for IVRC training program

  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to understand scientific challenges, project needs, and in turn facilitate execution of in vivo studies

  • Provides quality science that forms the basis for publications and patents and helps to prepare publications and patents.

  • Stay up-to-date and be familiar with new technologies, techniques and animal models

  • Ability to work independently and proactively

  • Strong interpersonal influencing and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented, matrix environment

  • Ability to adapt to and effectively manage change in a fast paced and dynamic environment

About you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 6 years of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR Master’s Degree plus minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in an academic or biopharmaceutical setting OR PhD. No Post doc experience required.

  • Must have permanent US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Laboratory Animal Technician certification

  • Provantis, Tick@lab or other in vivo management systems experience would be preferable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
