Philips Development Engineering Manager in Cambridge, Massachusetts

You are a part of

Providing leadership for a team of SW and HW Designers or Engineers as well as run major projects from a technical perspective for the Diagnostic Imaging Business unit.

Your role:

  • Management of Transducer new product development and technology projects

  • Functional Manager of a team of Engineers and Technicians made up of cross functional disciplines.

  • Be a key contributor to the cross-site Transducer R&D staff and on assigned new product development projects, business critical improvement initiatives and activities.

  • Assist as needed in developing Transducer R&D strategies and planning.

You're the right fit if:

  • BS in Technical Engineering Discipline.

  • Prior experience and proven ability to work on a leadership team, as well as participating and contributing to a major product development core team.

  • Experience providing leadership and direction of a team, and coaching direct reports in an R & D environment.

  • Good motivational and communication skills; both written and verbal ability to present on status of projects to senior management, and develop and manage budgets.

  • Experience in good Project Management principles and practices.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
