Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with Delphi expertise to be part of the highly successful Igloo modelling platform. You will be working on our existing widely used desktop Delphi applications, working to support our existing customers, and integrating with our award-winning Igloo Cloud platform.

The Role:

The team uses the latest Delphi development environment to develop our core desktop applications while we transition to the Cloud. The applications are in daily use by many of the world’s leading insurers and will continue to be used for years to come.

We are looking for somebody to contribute immediately with our existing Delphi team, refining features with our Technical Product Leads and ensuring quality by use of best software development practices.

The development process is Agile with automated testing, continuous integration (CI), and code reviews. The problems being solved range from straightforward to extraordinarily complex.

The Requirements:

• Highly skilled at programming with the Delphi language.

• Working within an Agile environment.

• Knowledge of automated testing and CI.

• Experience with Source Control.

• Able to work both in a team and when needed to self-motivate and self-organise.

• Experience with the full software development lifecycle in a commercial/production environment: estimation, implementation, unit and system-level testing, installation and deployment, maintenance
