Corteva Agrisicence UK Limited is looking for a sales professional member to join the Area Manager team. This is a home-based role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the sales, promotion, training and stewardship of the Corteva Crop Protection product portfolio to agronomists, farmers and influencers within a geographic territory.

We are looking for a candidate to cover Wales, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire. A central location within these defined territories with good access is preferred.

Your Challenge

  • Responsible for the overall development and management of a sales territory to achieve the annual sales plan

  • Build and continually develop an engaged customer and business partner network

  • Effectively communicate the positioning and placement of the portfolio through a good technical understanding of the product line and the Crop Protection market

  • Professionally conduct meetings with business partners, key stakeholders and farmer customers

  • Effectively and proactively manage customer queries or concerns

  • Provide timely market intelligence through an understanding of local customer needs and collaboration with local agronomists on current and new products in the portfolio

  • Use a range of communication tactics to engage with the above audiences

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • Degree in Agriculture or related discipline

  • BASIS certification

  • Knowledge of the Crop Protection industry standards and practices

  • Familiarity with crop protection products and their applications

  • Sales experience and proven track record in sales performance

  • Understanding of current market dynamics and trends

  • Ability to anticipate market changes and adapt strategies accordingly

  • Awareness of customer preferences and requirements

  • Knowledge of competitive products, programs and pricing structures

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
