Description We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the wine industry based in CALISTOGA, California. This role involves supporting various accounting functions at our winery location and will be a critical part of our dynamic accounting team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing new technologies to help build an efficient and scalable accounting and financial reporting operation.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate posting of customer invoices for wholesale and Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) in the ERP system

• Preparation and posting of bank deposits

• Import orders from Point of Sale (POS) into ERP system

• Invoice shipped orders and post credit card payment deposits for DTC

• Monitor customer past due balances and perform collection follow up as needed

• Record and code approved invoices and payments in Microsoft Dynamics

• Track recurring invoices, ensuring all invoices are received for month-end close

• Process employee expense reports

• Prepare and record wire payments

• Reconcile monthly vendor account statements and communicate with vendors regarding payment status

• Responsible for the timely monthly and quarterly sales tax filings

• Perform general ledger postings and journal entries

• Track and record capital expenditures with direction from management

• Perform month-end closings and prepare the trial balance. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Skilled in Microsoft Outlook

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in executing Billing Functions

• Competence in ADP - Payroll

• Experience in bi-Monthly Payroll

• Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll

• Ability to perform Journal Entries

• Experience with Adjusting Journal Entries

• Proficiency in managing Fixed Asset Ledger

• Familiarity with General Ledger

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting

• Knowledge of Fixed Assets

• Familiarity with Fixed Asset Depreciation
