Your Responsibilites

As a Production System Specialist – Hay & Forage with Agriculture and Turf Division, you will serve as an expert for Commercial Hay & Forage Products, Agronomic Solutions and Embedded Technology, by driving new equipment optimization and demonstrating Tractors, Round Balers, Large Square Balers, Self-Propelled Forage Harvesters, HarvestLab™ 3000 Technology, and Self-Propelled Windrowers. The Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert for Dairy & Livestock Production Systems by understanding customer needs, agronomic trends, and market insights.

In addition, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of marketing, sales and agronomic solution training to company employees, channel partners and customers on specific products that support a dairy & livestock farming system including agronomic, process and product information

  • Establish the interface with sales branches, factory marketing, product planning and channel partners to provide accurate data and analysis to improve product market intelligence, product performance and promote sales activities on specific products. Provide feedback to other business units on customer and channel partner product improvement requests

  • Work with the channel and end customer to promote, recommend and optimize product and data solutions to meet the current agronomic trends within the assigned geography

  • Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats. Involves working independently.

What Skills You Need

  • 2 to 5 years of agricultural industry experience.

  • Understanding of Canadian agricultural industry and dairy and livestock production system.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.

  • Ability to relocate for this position, as well as future growth opportunities.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.

  • Demonstrated team player.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Valid Driver’s license.

Education

Ideally, a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Education with related (5-7 years) work experience in agriculture, business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
