Job Description

First impressions are everything! As a Front Desk Agent at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us. 

Please note: The start date for this role will be between End of April to Mid-May, with an end date of October 1st. 

What you will be doing:

  • Greet and respond to guest requests while providing exceptional service

  • Responsible for check-in/out process, collecting payment and settling accounts as per standards, as well as taking and entering A La Carte food & beverage orders

  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience

  • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling

  • Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures, as well as health & safety protocols

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Service focused personality is essential; previous experience in a hotel or similar setting is required and previous experience working at the Front Desk is preferred

  • Computer literate with strong abilities in Microsoft Office is required and prior experience working with a property management system, Lightspeed or a related system, is preferred

  • Fluency in English with both verbal and written communication; additional languages are a plus

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and days of the week, including overnights
