Job Title: Electrician - All levels

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Electrician, where your main responsibilities include pulling and installing larger cable in open trenches, ensuring correct ground spacing, completing QA/QC documents and related protocols, hanging and securing junction boxes, and installing additional strut/racket supporting hardware. You will also engage in crimping and installing wire directly into panels. This role is entirely outdoors, requiring a comfort with outdoor work environments.

Hard Skills

• Indentured Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician

• Minimum 6 months outdoor construction or electrical experience

Soft Skills

• Ability to travel to site

• Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 8 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Calgary, Alberta.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted at a large solar field spanning over 600 acres with a project size of approximately 125 MW. The site provides lunchrooms and bathrooms, and workers are generally paired, with vehicles provided for transportation to respective work locations. Water is available on site. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute staggered breaks. The starting pay ranges from $21/hr - $42/hour, with incremental increases based on the year of apprenticeship
