*Position Description: *

We are seeking an experienced an Agile Project Manager to support multiple projects and initiatives under various teams in Wealth Management Technology. As part of this role, the candidate is expected to actively have strong Scrum Master Skills. The candidate will work closely with all the critical stakeholders to successfully steer towards successful project outcomes. The candidate will work on multiple technology projects/ work initiatives supporting the Wealth Management Business. The candidate will work with all the core development teams, other support teams, and drive efficient planning and execution. Understanding business demands will definitely help in informed decisions in all areas of our team. The position offers an interesting mix of business and technical aspects. It is important to stress that strong interpersonal skills and team spirit are required in addition to the ability to proficiently deliver verbal and written communications. This is a team that works extensively with other IT members in all Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) locations. This job demands strong work ethic and requires extensive hands-on, active participation.

The candidate will work with the Morgan Stanley at Work and broader organization teams, working on various deliveries. This candidate will be reporting to the Fleet Delivery / Program Manager lead in Calgary and work in collaboration with the Dev, QA and other Project Management /Business Analyst teams across global Morgan Stanley offices. Candidate will be working on Firm priority programs and Business Applications and be responsible for program delivery, execution, and support. Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic environment with limited or no supervision. Should be comfortable and manage time working with global team on multiple initiatives. Candidate will be able to extract, explore, mine and experiment with data to answer critical business problems and document.

*What you will do: *

• Leading agile delivery on strategic initiatives serving as an interface between Shareworks and the broader Morgan Stanley organization • Playing the role of Agile Coach, Agile Project Manager/Release Train Engineering, or Scrum Master to ensure effective outcomes • Solving agile at scale delivery challenges working with multiple agile teams, workstreams and stakeholders to improve transparency and visibility, remove impediments, and support continuous improvement at the team, program, and organizational level • Coaching business and technology stakeholders and adapting agile delivery practices to bridge various agile delivery models between product and enterprise organizational environments • Communicating up and across the organization from teams to senior and executive management to tell a cohesive story on progress, accomplishments, and challenges

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Engineering • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification • Minimum of 5 years of of agile delivery experience in a software development environment as an Agile Coach, Agile Project Manager/Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or other similar role where you have led multiple agile teams and facilitated inter-team planning, coordination, and dependency management delivering large complex software • Strong knowledge of various agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe) along with agile principles, practices, and tools • Competency in using Jira • Experienced in working with the Stakeholders to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information. • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization, effectively guiding group discussions and decision-making processes within the domain context. • Ability to identify and address any impediments or roadblocks that hinder the team's progress, worked closely with stakeholders to remove barriers, and ensure a smooth development process.

• Previous agile transformation experience a plus • Formal agile and project management certification a plus • Experience in finance industry a plus
