Urgently Hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company!

Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM. (Overtime is required during shutdowns, emergency situations, or periods of heavy workloads, which includes staying after shift hours, weekends, and being on call)

Pay: $35 - $38

Location: West Caldwell, NJ

Job Description

Total plant equipment coverage includes packaging lines, coating lines, processing, drying, UPS, HVAC, energy center and warehouse support, building maintenance, and electrical distribution lighting. Responsibilities include responding to equipment emergencies, performing electrical PM during operation or scheduled downtime, and communicating routinely with production personnel and supervision to maintain knowledge of the latest production schedule. The role also involves communicating potential equipment problems to production and maintenance supervisors to allow scheduling of repairs, looking for and implementing equipment and system improvements, and performing other maintenance tasks as requested by the maintenance supervisor.

Hard Skills

• Working knowledge and experience with both control and power circuitry, including low (480VAC)

• Experience working in classified areas (i.e., Class 1, Division 1 and/or 2)

• Familiarity with current NEC code and OEM specifications

• Ability to make updates/changes to equipment/facility as required (i.e., Arc Flash)
