JOB TITLE: Millwork Building Materials Driver
FUNCTION: The Building Materials Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of building materials and products as specified by customer orders and Company standards.
LOCATION: Caldwell, ID
KEY ACTIVITIES:
- Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values;
- Safely drive and operate lumber delivery truck;
- Assume responsibility for the proper operation and maintenance of company vehicle;
- Perform daily pre and post safety checklists on mixer truck prior to and following hauling concrete;
- Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle;
- Record the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) log at the end of each shift;
- Record all information on each delivery ticket and turn in a signed delivery ticket;
- Deliver orders/building materials to each customer according the specifications on the delivery ticket;
- Provide exceptional customer service and team support;
- Advise management of any customer situations beyond scope of authority;
- Maintain a commercial drivers license (CDL) and department of transportation (DOT) medical card;
- Maintain insurable driving record;
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, identifying and addressing potential safety concerns;
- Operate equipment according to specification and in alignment with designated safety standards;
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.;
- Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
