Teradata Accounting Manager in Cairo, Egypt

What You’ll Do
As an experienced Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in providing accounting services for Egypt entity and be part of the team based in Cairo/ Islamabad, Egypt/Pakistan.
Key areas of responsibility includes: -
Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting and risk identification
Account reconciliations and resolving reconciliation items
Completing Flux analysis
Month end closing tasks.
Completing bridge between USGAAP – Local GAAP – Tax GAAP
Prepare Statutory Accounts
Manage Statutory Audit
Researching and resolving accounting issues for your assigned country
Complete ownership of legal entity matters, including statutory accounts, internal and external audit, supporting tax compliance.
Continuous review of processes for improvement opportunities and effective control environment
Collaboration and support to other departments including Tax, Legal, HR, CRE, Business unit
Actively participate in corporate initiatives, including process improvement, new system implementation, acquisitions, through country specific and discipline specific knowledge
Close coordination with shared services Centre teams (FA, IC, GL, AR, AP)
Local Compliance Responsibilities: -
Managing Customer Performance Guarantees
Quarterly GAFI reporting
Withholding tax compliance for both local & International Vendors
Ensuring Import compliance and managing advances and recon with Import agent at transactions level,
Supporting Tax group in preparation of responses against CIT, VAT and payroll notices,
Provident Fund audit and FRA compliance,
Ensuring Social Insurance compliance,
Accounting for VAT deduction by Customers and its proper documentation,
OCS employees’ vendor management both local and International,
Regular follow up with internal and external customers on AR,
Management of e-invoicing portal and complete reconciliation with US GAAP
Who You’ll Work With
you will be working closely with the Team leader and the other team members with the day-to-day tasks of the accounting department.
you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely accounting information. This will often involve close collaboration with other specialized departments and stake holders
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
CA/ICMA/ACCA Qualified/Part-Qualified
Proven experience (8+ years) in reputed organizations including MNC
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication in Arabic & English and interpersonal skills.
