Location: 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315 Job Description: Position Summary: This role is responsible to participate in the development, execution and/or implementation of Marketing strategies and tactics in support of our OwnBrands portfolio of consumer products; collaborate with and provide strategic consultation to Marketing leadership and lead cross-functional teams to identify, develop and deploy various capabilities, processes and tools to increase the customer centric focus. Also responsible for the oversight of the Marketing budgets. Here's what you'll do: * Partner and collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising leaders to ensure successful implementation of tools and capabilities per the customer strategy roadmap and identified work streams. * Provide strategic guidance on required changes, identify interdependencies and resolve issues. * Identify, recommend and/or lead the implementation of marketing initiatives; partner with cross-functional teams and/or vendors (enterprise data partner) to ensure effective implementation and execution of consumer centric marketing plans to increase the effectiveness of the Marketing department. * Partner with key stakeholders on the implementation and deployment of marketing tools and technology to ensure such meets business needs and improves the operations of the Marketing area. * Provide guidance on change management to update business processes as necessary to appropriately support new tools and technologies. * Work marketing leadership to ensure internal alignment as it relates to strategic priorities and operational effectiveness; provide strategic counsel and guidance to the department and develop recommended cadence of meetings and communication to ensure cross functional alignment. * Oversee the Marketing budget process to include planning, forecasting, invoice processing and reporting. Identify and address potential budget issues, work with department management for resolution and make adjustments accordingly. * Serve as the key contact for Finance Department on budget matters. * Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best Marketing practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes. * Identify emerging trends and technologies and make recommendations to support the Company and Marketing programs. * Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed Here's what you'll need: * Bachelor's degree (required) in Marketing or Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Master's degree preferred. * Eight years job experience of progressive marketing experience in multiple marketing/merchandising areas; experience in retail or consumer packaged goods preferred.
