Amergis Local/Travel Contract - RN Psych - Butner, NC in Butner, North Carolina
Amergis Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled RNs for Psych assignments in Butner, NC .
Position Details:
· Contract Length: 16 Weeks (Extensions Available)
· Number of Openings: 8
· Shift Length: 12hrs
· Start Date: ASAP
· Schedule: Day Shift 7a-7:30p - Night Shift 7p-7:30a - 36hr/48hr Rotation - Every Other Weekend Required
Must have NC State or Compact license
First 3-4 weeks are orientation M-F 8a-5p
no time off allowed during orientation and no missed days
Requirements:
Must be licensed as a RN for minimum 1 year
Must be able to attend orientation first 4 weeks M-F 8A-5P (no call outs, late arrival, or time off allowed)
Must be comfortable floating to ANY and ALL units (adolescent, adults, geriatric, etc)
Must be comfortable working with adolescent patients
Must be comfortable working in a psychiatric setting which may include caring for aggressive, combative, and mentally ill patients
Time off policy:
No time off is allowed within the first 4 weeks of start date! NO EXCEPTIONS If you have time off within the first 4 weeks of start date.
No call outs or missed days allowed during orientation – this can result in being removed from roster until next orientation date
No time off is allowed during holiday block out period (Nov 17th– Jan 3rd)
No more than 3 days requested off per contract
Orientation Dates:
March 3rd and March 17th
The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
