Job Title: Repair Technician
Job Description
Working within a team of 3-4 people to repair broken/defective mechanical seals that come in from local oil/soy fields. You will receive product in the mornings and enter inventory within QAD computer systems. Responsibilities include performing computer work to enter received product and to order parts needed to repair these seals. About 20% of the seals will move into the teardown department to break down into individual parts. Using hand/power tools, you will disassemble and move the parts to the cleaning bay. Once cleaned, the parts will be moved to a buffer to polish them flush. Seal parts then move into the inspection area where you will use micrometers, calipers, and a comparator to determine issues and specifications. You will utilize a large screen blueprint to read and interpret the specs needed from these seals. Metals include tungsten and copper.

This is a fully on-site position in Burnsville, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Very clean environment. Receiving area, inspection area, and teardown area. 2 repair techs on site, 2 engineers, and an admin in front. Small company feel. Flexible shift - any time within the 7am - 4:30pm range. 8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch (no 15 min breaks).
