Job Description
Do you have a strong customer service orientation with a background in customer service or inside sales for technology products? Bosch Communications Systems has an exciting opportunity for you! As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be an integral part of the sales team by collaborate closely with our Product Experts, Marketing and Regional Sales teams to drive sales.
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative ideally based in Burnsville, MN.
Key Responsibilities
SALES ACTIVITY
Identifies new potential customers (hunting) and selling products of dedicated BU. This can be done by:
Taking over marketing generated leads, for follow-up
Generating opportunities from own leads
Executing marketing and sales initiatives
Executes outbound calls directed towards agreed upon accounts within a region for the purpose of growing sales in these accounts and achieving defined sales goals – will be expected to work regional time zones.
Proactively prospects territory for newly developed business relationships and opportunities
Conducts and creates specific sales/product campaigns to win back inactive accounts
Identifies decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to initiate and work through the sales process
Determines the prospects needs and requirements and suggests appropriate technical solutions which includes designing and selling technical solutions
Generates end user demand through outbound calling initiatives and webinars and influences prospects to purchase, utilize or retain products and/or services
Manages relationship with existing customers (farming) for account development and upselling. This is accomplished by:
Handling outbound calls/requests from customers
Performing outbound calls for re-activation/upselling
Executing marketing and sales initiatives
Appropriately positions our products against the competition
Draws out and seeks to understand and overcome customer objections
Conducts virtual meetings, strategy sessions, presentations, and demonstrations to customers
Provides error free written product and price quotations to our internal and external customers and follows up on all existing quotes with the purpose of closing business
Effectively utilizes internal customer database
Provide applicable project support as needed though communications with Logistics, A/P Credit, Product Management, Technical Support and Marketing
REGIONAL ACTIVITIES
Provide input into the annual sales and account planning
Work with Sales District managers to update and maintain CRM Project Pipeline
Develop sales collateral and selling guides
Contribute to overall sales strategy as applicable
Works with the Director of Sales to implement action plans within the Regional Territories
Tracks the participation of dealers in promotional and demo programs
Reviews territory progress and conducts annual dealer stratification
Trains new regional team members on sales programs and procedures
Travels to regional trade shows and team meetings
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required.
A minimum of three years of pre-sales, customer service or inside sales experience preferably selling technology products.
Excellent computer skills is a must, specifically MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional telephone etiquette with proficiency in cold calling
Effective presentation skills
Proactive and goal-oriented with the ability to take initiative
Sound organizational skills and ability to prioritize between different tasks
High degree of customer service orientation, patience and friendly attitude toward customers and colleagues
Ability to handle stressful situations in an efficient, professional manner
Demonstrate an aptitude for understanding the applicable technology, and be comfortable with continuous learning and conveying the products in a rapidly evolving industry
Must be able to support a team approach to satisfy sales goals and assure 100% customer satisfaction
Must have the ability to travel domestically up to 5%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Business or a technical discipline is preferred.
Working knowledge of Audio or Communication products is strongly preferred
Multiple language capability is desirable
SAP experience
Skilled with CRM databases

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 to $65,000, plus commission. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. In addition to your base salary, Bosch offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision plans; health savings accounts (HSA); flexible spending accounts; 401(K) retirement plan with an employer match; wellness programs; life insurance; short and long term disability insurance; paid time off; parental leave, adoption assistance; and reimbursement of education expenses.
