Job Title: Clean Room Technician

Job Description

Candidates will be assembling in a 1000 level clean room setting under a microscope for the majority of the time. They will be soldering and assembling small circuit boards/capacitors onto medical stents and catheters. Specifically, working on the catheter shafts and any other sub-assemblies needed. Working with small tweezers and hand tools to complete the assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Hand assembly and soldering under a microscope of disposable medical devices.

  • Assembly and testing of electromechanical assemblies.

  • Provide light repair and maintenance on equipment such as braiders and compressors.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of clean room experience preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience working under a microscope preferred.

  • 1+ year of soldering experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and comprehend English is a MUST.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with medical assembly, small component electrical or mechanical assembly.

  • Experience with SMT, thru-hole, surface mount soldering.

  • IPC certification preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a 1000 level clean room, requiring gowning up in a climate-controlled environment. Initial training schedule is 6am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Post-training shifts are flexible, either 5am - 1:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
