The Shipper for Cytiva is responsible for processing, packaging and shipping orders in an efficient manner and as per our policies & procedures.

This position is part of the Supply Chain and Logistics organization located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Process, package and ship orders in an efficient and as per our policies & procedures.

• Accountable to meet the Shipping schedule, book and track shipments with our transport partners.

• Create documentations, complete ERP transactions and send pre-alerts for our outbound shipments.

• Ensure effective communication is maintained with all stakeholders within the Vancouver site as well as global Cytiva teams pertaining to day-to-day logistics operations.

• Champion DBS initiatives and Danaher Core Behaviors within the Logistics team.

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail approach in performing work, a strong ability to successfully work in teams and effectively work independently.

Who you are:

• Post secondary degree (or equivalent diploma) with 1-2 years of logistics and warehouse experience

• Experience in packaging, palletizing, and crating for international shipments and understanding of International Trade Regulations and Incoterms. Experience using ERP systems

• Valid forklift operator certificate. Able to lift 35 lbs.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience working with Oracle and SAGE ERP systems.

• Developing and adhering to work instructions and standard work.

• Understanding and participating in process improvement Kaizen initiatives.

The salary range for this role is $52,000- $57,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
