*Purpose of this role: *
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the hands-on oversight of a maintenance team that safely and efficiently supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment. The Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning, and overseeing day to day maintenance work, performing a variety of responsible duties related to the supervision of maintenance activities, as well as training, supervising, and evaluating the work of employees. This is a highly collaborative position and requires strong organizational, planning, follow-up, and communication skills.
*Key Responsibilities: *
Ability to identify, modify, adjust, and repair mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or diagrams including blueprints, schematics, and mechanical renditions.
Ability to utilize a variety of power tools, hand tools, gauging and measuring equipment safely and correctly.
Thorough understanding and demonstrated ability to improve equipment reliability to minimize downtime, improve efficiencies, and produce a high-quality product
